Training Development
Australian Aerospace Training Services Department provides a significant training systems capability. These capabilities can be offered as a complete package, or as individual parts of an existing framework and include:
Training Design
Our personnel have significant experience conducting competency analyses, learning outcome and assessment design, and curriculum creation. We can create the structure of a course including all Learning Outcomes, Modules and Assessments, specialising in competency based training.
Training Development
Continuing from the Design phase, our Training Systems practitioners have an in-depth knowledge of producing training materials which support our training design.
Registered Training Organisation (RTO)
Australian Aerospace (RTO 31530) is committed to meeting the requirements of the Australian Quality Training Framework. Currently our RTO Scope of Registration consists of:

Learning Management System (LMS)
Training Services utilises technological best practise and has a dedicated LMS for the instruction and assessment of trainees. This web-based application allows students to log on to the LMS at any internet-capable computer for the purposes of training, revision and assessment.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
With experienced TNA practitioners, Training Services Department personnel have successfully completed a number of comprehensive training needs analyses including MRH90, CH-47D Chinook, and S-70A-9 Blackhawk for both conversion to type and conversion to role utilising the National Training Framework.
A custom built web-based TNA tool supports our methodology to produce reports capable of identifying trade specific impacts, methods and media analysis, and potential ground training device specifications in order to provide cost-effective customised aviation training solutions.

Ground Training Devices (GTD)
Depending on the workplace, it may be more efficient and/or safer to work on a simulated device. Our team of GTD experts can design and build the most effective training equipment for a task, including Virtual Trainers (computer based simulations) and mechanical mock-ups.
