Australian Aerospace Training Services was requested in 2001 to support the introduction into service of the ARH Tiger (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter). In conjunction with industry partners, we were tasked with developing a full suite of training management packages to enable the Australian Army to operate and maintain the aircraft to it’s full capability. Training Services has the management responsibility for delivering training by our partners at Army Aviation Training Centre located at Oakey, Queensland.

In 2006 Australian Aerospace was contracted to provide the MRH90 (Multi-Role Helicopter) and it’s supporting systems to the Australian Defence Force. Training Services initiated a comprehensive Training Need Analysis (TNA) to ensure all aspects of the new platform would be included in the training regime and followed this with the design and development of a large number of training management packages. Training Services operates and maintains the MRH90 Training Centre located at Townsville, Queensland.

 
The quality of the Training Services products demonstrated to the Australian Defence Force our dedication to excellence, and we were subsequently nominated to update a number of Army Aviation training materials.
 
With our continuing successes Training Services Department is Eurocopter’s global point of contact for conducting Training Needs Analyses and training package design
